Watched a bit of our spring training game last night. Super pumped for the season to come back.
Anyone else thinking of going to opening day? _________________

I'm not gonna make it until the White Sox series, but I did get my 15 game package! _________________

| I'm going to OD, I just need to get tickets. I'm wondering if they'll go down as we get closer to game day. |

Gio was dealing yesterday. Both him and Det looked great in the work at the WBC.
Also, Davey officially announced Strasburg as the Opening Day starter. _________________

So evidently HRod made the team over JC Romero so we're really going with only one lefty in the pen _________________

Meh
Lefty matchups are for crappy teams and teams in September.
Clippard and Stammen are both great against left handed hitters. With our bullpen as good as it is, we essentially will be playing 6 innings of baseball every night. And the Nats rotation isn't too shabby either.
Only three concerns I have:
1. Denard Span has sucked it up in ST. That combined with the usual drop in hitting associated with going from the AL to the NL has me concerned that we gave up too much to get him, when we could have signed Bourn for cash.
2. Dan Haren has been awful. He's basically our #5 starter, and he is not a more improved version of himself from last year.
3. No starting rotation depth. Not like last year where we had Lannan. If we get injuries, we're going to be throwing Maya and Zack Duke out there
Monday can not get here soon enough. |

I agree, Haren is my biggest question mark. I'm just not sure what we can expect out of him. Seemed like an overpay at the time and he's done nothing to alleviate my concerns in spring training.
I'm not too worried about DSpan. If we he stays around his typical defensive/baserunning metrics and stays healthy then he'll be a 3 WAR player even if his batting drops a little due to first year in a new league. _________________

| Is Soriano going to start the year, or miss a few games? |

As far as we know, he's the closer
What's on the 300 level that would justify an additional 20 bucks a ticket? |

Are those club seats?
I'm not sure to be honest. My season tickets are in the left field bleachers in 106 which suits me just fine. _________________

I think I'm just going to get 400 level seats and spend the extra coin on booze |

I will buy you a beer at a couple of the Braves games. Ill be in at least 85% of Braves games when they are played here. |
