Ehh. We'd still have to pay the money had we amnestied him and this way he's either going to make us worse(not a terrible scenario) or sit on the end of the bench. _________________

Doesn't his salary not count against the cap though if we amnestied him? _________________

We aren't going to spend the cap this year so why does it really matter? Next year CV will be an expiring contract we can trade or let expire. Amnestying him this year would have been a waste. _________________

| A lot depends on whether or not LF plays him at all and when he does how well he plays. |

Another thing with keeping CV I don't understand, we are running out of roster space.
1, Brandon Knight
2. Will Bynum
3. Rodney Stuckey
4. Kim English
5. Tayshaun Prince
6. Corey Maggette
7. Austin Daye
8. Kyle Singler
9. Khris Middleton
10. Jonas Jerebko
11. Jason Maxiell
12. Greg Monroe
13. Andre Drummond
14. The FA C we signed from overseas
15. CV
For some reason I feel like I am forgetting someone. I have also read about the possibility of bringing Ben Wallace back for this year. _________________

It is. They may as well hold on to him until something good enough comes along that requires him to be gone. |

Bynum is under contract through this year at 3.5 million. He is also going on 30.
I am really interested to see who makes the final roster. |

Drummond Given what I'd heard about him last year, I was expecting him to look MUCH more timid in his first NBA game. Not the case at all, how about that block?
Team's playing with a lot of energy, especially for a pre-season game. _________________
