Tossed this out on the Bucs board, thought I'd run it by you guys.
So you have the Williams/Williams tandem with Johnson and Harrington playing well together. Here's the idea.

Tampa Bay's 2006 1st rounder for Charlie Rogers!

You seem set at WR and the Bucs NEED an outside threat to go deep. Galloway will work well until his second trip down the field and he gets hurt. So what do you think?

No team will pay a 1st rounder to a guy who has only been on the filed a few games in 2 years. Why does everyone think we need to trade him?? You can never have enough depth at WR as the past few seasons proved.

Charles Rogers will be our #1 WR when the season starts. mooch has already said he'll be our starting flanker, with Roy at split end and Mike in the slot. He's not going anywhere.

I don't get how everyone thinks we can't afford him?
Lions forked out 94-95 million dollars last year in salary...they were 5th highest in the NFL.

We can afford him.

I don't think you can't afford him and I don't think you don't need him. I'm a Bucs fan and I want him, he's exactly what we need. You want our first?

more than your first, in my opinion. and a trade is almost out of the question, Millen and Mooch are very happy with their team, and their draft.

i also don't see how people actually think we're gonna trade rogers. He's had two years to sit out master our offense and his 40 time is remarkable for his size. If anything i believe he can be better than Roy and Mike in my oppinion. It's not like his injury is something that a player can't over come

I kinda like that deal just of the fact next years draft is so deep, but I would pass on it because we just dont know what kind of talent CROG can put on the field quite yet...
