Has anyone heard anything new about Ty Law. John Clayton of ESPN said that the Jets are in the front running for Law but the Lions have been pursuing him and are huge competition with us.

Ya if you go to

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpcTFhbmEwBF9TAzk1ODYxMDU5BHNlYwN0bQ--?slug=cnnsi-onemoreshot&prov=cnnsi&type=lgns

Peter King says he thinks that Law will be a Jet, i've heard others say this but the fins, lions, colts, buccaneers, chiefs, jaguars, and steelers are all still interested. I want him to be a jet but im worried about the loins grabbing him. Cornerbacks will be slim this year if we cant get law.

Quote:
The agent for veteran unrestricted free agent cornerback Ty Law said his client is recovering nicely from foot surgery. Kevin Poston said yesterday that Law is sprinting full-speed and will begin cutting shortly. He said several teams have contacted him about Law, but he hasn't officially heard from the Jets.

Jets coach Herman Edwards has spoken to Law, and the ex-Patriot would probably be involved in a fallback plan for the club should Donnie Abraham decided to retire.

Law could get call from Jets

I'd rather you get him than the Lions.

Browns are high up there as well, I wouldnt count them out just yet. As far as I know Miami has only offered him a contract.
