why not offer laroi and greg or laroi and something else to the ravens for terrel suggs they say they are going 4-3 and laroi is the best 4-3 dt in the game and terrel might struggle a little in the DE position plus they would be getting greg ellis a real good 4-3 de and we would be getting a beast 3-4 OLB...

and I don't care what defense they are going to run in Baltimore, they are not going to trade Suggs.

not a great idea. Sure Suggs is a beast, but we got depth @ every position on D except for SS (that's IMO). The trade would clear up the D line for us a bit, but make us more crowded @ LB.

If we are gonna trade these two, it'll be for a WR that could contribute right away.

Ok, I for one am all for trade ideas, so instead of ripping this trade just answer me this:

Why would the Ravens trade a 22 year-old Pro Bowl OLB/DE for a 12-year VET, with a much bigger contract?

Suggs had about 150 sacks during his final season at Az. St. as a 4-3 DE. He will not struggle as a DE.

And the reason is...

we have no legit #1 reciever

Suggs won't be as productive as a DE as he was as the edge rusher. At least, not at first. He had 150 sacks against college competition, not pro offensive linemen.

I say trade Ellis and Glover for Lavar Arrington

LE-Canty
DT-Fergy
RE-Spears

WLB- Ware
ILB- Nguyen
ILB- Barnett
SLB- Arrington

LCB-Newman
RCB-Henry
SS-Concrete
FS-Glenn

You have to admit that would be a very nice defense.

eh

we have plenty of good OLBs

If we r gonna trade em, it should be for a real need like #1WR or all pro tackle

If we can't get that, I say we keep em

we just basically drafted all D

if we trade it HAS to be for a wide out or a tackle

tackle IMO
