Thurman brings a lot of intensity in his play. Marvin Lewis knows linebackers, he coached LaVar Arrington, and probably the best middle linebacker ever, Ray Lewis. Thurman has the ability to reach that kind of level, and that's why Lewis drafted him. He is going to have a real big impact as soon as he gets on the field.

I'll go out on a limb and say that minus the off the field issues, Thurman may be the best LB in the Draft. DJohnson doesn't take on tackles while Odell bowls people over. It looks like Marvin found his guy to make a star.

After reading Hobson's article about him today, I'd have to say it wont be long before Landon will be his back up.

They said in the article that Thurman was right now the opening day starter, so no, that wasn't too long. If Webster can get healthy, then I thinkthey would be crazy not to try Landon at SS.

I think you're going to see a lot of different packages with 4 LB's or even 5 LB's or anything you can think of just to get these guys on the field. I suppose it's a good thing to have too much talent.

I haven't heard a whole lot about Caleb Miller this year. Has he fully recovered from his ankle injuries? Last yaer at this time he was the "Thurman" of this year, as far as all the articles and praise he received from Hobson and the coaches.

i think it was a very good pick. Ozzie Newsome had him for a visit and he was a potential 2nd round pick for the Ravens. I think Thurman has a bright future ahead of him.
