Philip Rivers...yes or no

There has been speculation and I myself saw NFL Live when Chris Mortensen said that the Cowboys were interested in trading a number one for Philip Rivers and I wanted to take a poll on just what all you Cowboy fans think. I think it would be good.

if it only cost us one of our 1st rounder then yes...IMO, it can't hurt to acquire another good QB prospect for this team.

Worst idea for a Cowboys fan, maybe drafting Alex Smith would be the only thing worse than trading for Rivers.

I don't know...I find myself torn. Maybe if I had a better idea of what Henson can do, by, I don't know, actually seeing him in a game, I'd have a stronger opinion on this. I do know that I read up on Rivers, and he seems more like Peyton Manning then Eli Manning does.

how about another hell no, we don't need another rookie QB on this team. We just need the weapons to help Henson and or Romo. Example a healthy JJ, entire right side of Oline, a deep threat. This right here would help out a whole lot. If they can't perform next season with this, then get a QB next year. How can you judge which is better Rivers or Henson or Romo when only Henson played for two quarters and Rivers never threw a pass this season.

yes Rivers is second year but he has not thrown a nfl pass yet, henson played a whole two quarters, Romo will be on his 3rd year and has not thrown a nfl pass, to me there all still rookies

Romo=not starting material
Henson=too much of a long term project

I would love to see Rivers in Dallas

he was a great college QB and i think he could help da boyz, along with Julius Jones, get back into the playoffs

I agree I mean why wait around for something that might not be anything...Rivers was arguably the best quarterback in college and is definately worth a first pick and Drew Henson. If I remember right I think Jerry Jones said on the Ticket that he would do whatever it takes to bring ina franchise quarterback and here he is.....Philip Rivers.
