As a kid growing up in the 80's it seemed like every year there was a Steeler being inducted into the Hall of Fame... mainly because most years there were Wink

Who from the 90's-2000's do you think will make it into the Hall?

I say...

Rod Woodson
Dermonti Dawson
Jerome Bettis

and Carnell Lake should but probably wont

woodson and bettis will be first ballot guys.

Kevin Greene should be in based upon his sack production alone, #3 all time.

Hines won't make it in.

Agree with the others.

I still find it ridiculous Greene doesn't get as much respect as he deserves.

Rod, Bettis, and Dawson are in, as is Cowher.

Greene has a shot as he was part of the All-Decade Team (usually a good indicator) along with Junior Seau and D. Thomas. He also has most sacks ever for a LB with 160 and was POTY in 1996.

Carnell will have a tough time because he played on one of the best defenses of all time at creating pressure on the QB and he was opposite one of the league's all time CBs in Rod Woodson.

I don't think that Levon will make it.

Every person who talks about Hines Ward on TV, radio, or the net say he's one of the best all around receivers in the NFL.(Best Blocking WR) He has 4 pro-bowls, superbowl MVP, and Team Mvp honors. When he retires in 4 years, he will have every Steeler record in receiving, beating two other Hall of Famers. Only Jerome Bettis had better community relations. Heck, I'd say HINES WARD will make the HOF.

I do not think Gary makes it.. for one there are very very few Kickers in the HoF... and two there are a lot of kickers above Gary... like Morten Anderson and Adam Vinateri IMO

The only way Hines makes it in is if he puts together three more prime years and in the process makes about 2 more pro bowls before he's done.

4 pro bowls would go to 6
Super Bowl MVP would be a giant boost
and his all-around skills as a receiver (which includes blocking) should help him out as well.

Hell...considering he started his career with guys like Maddox, Kordell, and Graham throwing to him it's surprising to see how well he had played before Ben came to town. Hines isn't fortunate enough to have Peyton throwing to him, and I'd imagine that there should be some consideration for Hines playing in a run-oriented offense as well.

I'd say Hines will end up a bubble guy, the Steelers winning another Super Bowl before he retires would help tremendously as well.
