Here we go again ...
Overall: Underwood redshirted in 2000, he played in 11 games seeing most of his action on special teams in 2001 and he started 11 games in 2002. He started 12 games in 2003 finishing the season with 68 tackles, three tackles-for-loss, one sack, one forced fumble and two interceptions. Underwood recorded 58 tackles, two tackles-for-loss, no sacks, one forced fumble and two interceptions in 2004. Underwood has the versatility, instincts and motor to develop into an excellent backup safety and special teams' contributor in the NFL. However, Underwood lacks ideal size and athletic ability, and he doesn't make as many big plays as he should. The bottom line is that we feel "Underwood lacks the physical tools to ever develop into a starter in the NFL", which is why we think he's nothing more than a mid-to-late round draft prospect. |

This is a good pick he runs a 4.38 just like Collins and remember in bates style of defense the safetys are both Free basically. I like this pick he is a good player and should go along good with Colllins. _________________
