I think our biggest need right now is a cornerback. We either need a good corner or a FS that is strong in coverage somewhere in our next 2 picks. When you look at our schedule, many of our opponents are tough passing teams.
Colts- No explanation needed here
Lions- With the addition of Mike Williams, they may have the best set of WRs in the league although we havent seen anything of Rogers. Still, if Harrington comes around this will be a huge passing threat
Browns X2- They may not be a huge passing team, but they still have good weapons. K2, Braylon Edwards plus several other solid WRs.
Begals X2- This offense has massive potential. Rudi Johnson is a top 10 RB and Palmer has all the right skills to be a probowler. Plus hes got CJ, Houshmenzadah, Warrick and now Chris Henry.
Jaguars- Again, not a huge passing team but with Jimmy Smith, Reggie Williams and Matt Jones, Leftwhich may be looking to air it out more.
Vikings- Even without Moss, Culpepper-Burleson-Williamson-Robinson plus there TEs are a top 5 if not top 3 passing offense.
Deon's return is uncertain and even if he is back, i think the need is still the stop priority.
These guys seem like our best options right now:
Brandon Browner, CB
Antonio Perkins, CB
Abraham Elimian, CB
James Butler, FS
Vince Fuller, FS
Sean Considine, FS
Does anybody know any potential june 1st cuts at CB? |
