I say we take a stab at Timmons. Hes a big LB with a lot of potential.

Brian Leonard

Leonard's not worth a mid second round pick

Anderson would definitely be the pick if he's somehow available.

I would like to move down but it's unlikely we'd get two first rounders...right now on New England has 2 and it would basically have to be us giving up our 1st and 2md for there two firsts and their fourth

I voted for J. Anderson I don't know, why. I guess I think he could diversify the Steelers defense. I think he'd be able to stand up, drop into coverage, play some tackle, play 3-4 and 4-3 end. He could help revolutionize the Steelers defense making it that more unpredictable.

I went with trade for 2 1sts. Then take Posluszny and one of the following:

Joe Staley
Robert Meachem
Anthony Spencer
Brian Leonard
Ted Ginn if he slips

If we take Leonard I will be PO'd. He is easily one of the most overrated players in this draft. Id take him with a 4th round pick, no higher than that.

Besides which, take into account that the Steelers dont use the FB much for anything else but blocking, and you can find a good blocking FB in the late rounds or undrafted.

Leonard won't be use strictly as a FB, he'll be the best of both worlds. Just imagine a more agile and versatile M. Alstott.

Leonard is nowhere even close to Alstott.

Absolutely not even in the same "league."

No way. If Anderson is picked, Keisel better start looking for other opportunities, elsewhere or be willing to take a pay cut.

I still do not believe the Steelers will switch to a 4-3 ("hybrid" @ the most) and think Tomlin wants to be HC, not a coordinator. In doing so, will rely on his coordinators, similar to that of what Cowher did (who was a 4-3 coordinator too previous to being hired as the HC).

Nope incorrect

Bill Cowher only coached 34 defense

Kc and Cleveland

Think Marty Wink

Doug Whaley believes the Steelers will be a 43 team in 08...I will go with that
