OMG i saw that game and yes we got HOME COURT BABY!!!
damn i was on the edge of my freaking sit the whole damn game. The damn Phoenix Suns wont go away man; it pisses me off. It was a good win though; i cant complain. Tracy almost had a triple double and Yao did pretty good in the paint. Im loving how we just beat two opponents that we never beat this year and played like a playoff team should play. Cant wait for the 1st Round to get started with Utah Jazz. I think we should beat them pretty bad, but im still not getting my hopes up yet. Utah had spirts of FGP% and could take a game over. I think it will go to the 6th game at their home court to seal the deal.
Then after that i think we play the Spurs if im not correct?? or is it the Suns?? I dont know but if we get to the 2nd Round in the playoffs im going to go CRAZY!!. McGrady has never played past the 1st ROund and im hoping we can take it too a WHOLE new level like last night.
GO HOUSTON!!! | They play Dallas in the 2nd round _________________

If we have home court, why are we still 5th-seed? _________________

The Jazz won thier division which gives them a top 4 seed, but home court is not based on seeding but on records, which Houston has a better record....Houston finished 3rd in thier division be hind Dallas and San Antonio.
Does anyone watch the Stargate Shows? _________________

Homecourt advantage aainst Utah...I like. Now I'm hoping one of the lower seeds can pull off a massive upset...
Sidenote: Remember I told you about how I found a used Infiniti G35 on CarMax? Well, the dealer called me yesterday and told me it was in the Houston location...I went there straight from the gym and test drove it...I tell you what, that car is SOMETHING ELSE...I sat and went over the price and some financing details, and it looks like these things work in my favor. I am gonna have my old car detailed and washed today...and God willing, I'll be buying the G35 today! Someone please PM me on how to post a pic on a thread...I'll put up some pics this weekend (if I get it, that is...)
To all the HS kids...yeah, good luck on the TAKS. Back in my heyday, we had the TAAS and the weeks leading up to it were hectic. They literally beat your brains in with that info until you were mumbling it in your sleep. Eh, it is vital info that is used in everyday life...and with the level of HS intellegence i've seen here on the boards, I think we'll have a few guys ace it outright. Heck, I'd have to say we have some upper echelon HS folk here as Texans fans...maybe some Valedictorians amongst us...
P-Dilly - Yeah I have watched a few episodes of Stargate, but I more or less am relagated to watching the syndicated version on late night weekend TV. The episodes I've watched were pretty cool...but I haven't gotten into it, per se. (I'm more of a Star Wars fan myself...)
Good topic of discussion, however. Outside of anything sports related...what are your favorite TV shows?
Here's my list:
Scrubs - MAN, this show is flippin hilarious. I just started getting into it, with syndicated episodes on Comedy Central...it's clever humor...it's what I call my "decompression" show; After a hard day at work, school and the gym, I plop down on the couch and watch it. I sit there and giggle goofily, like some stoner...the Janitor is THE MAN...
I Love New York - A guilty pleasure. It's kinda like watching a car wreck...I don't want to see the carnage, but I cannot help but to take a peek. I just saw the final episode and the reunion special...that's just awesome how Tango did her wrong in the end. That's what New York gets for talkin trash about Tango's mama...don't no one talk trash about someone's mama...
Family Guy - I liked this show during it's 1st run and was upset when they canceled it. Adult Swim was smart to bring it back...
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - Pure genius. I need to go see the movie...
Aight folks, I have some business to attend to...but I'll be browsing from time to time...hope everyone has a good and blessed day! _________________ That's my story and I'm stickin to it. |

I love Scrubs and lately I've been hooked to Jeopardy (Makes me feel smarter when I can answer a couple right) and Law and Order: Criminal Intent and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. It seems like with TiVo thats all I ever watch anymore. _________________
