Yup I do.. when he was with the giants and redskins he didnt do that much because the team didnt have good QBs.. He goes to the patriots and does really good. He had tom brady throwing him the ball. He signs with us and we have the best QB in the league... so i think he should do good for us

I think this is a HUGE pickup....I posted on this board in early March saying we were talking to him and people generally left it alone. This will prove to be one of our bigger signings.

Patten's got stuff left in the tank and he's a proven winner and a classy guy. He's definitely enough to be our number two, even if we do bring in a top reciever. I'll take Patten to produce more than Joe did last year and spend less time hurt.

Does he have anything left? i'm not so sure. he's only played a full season in only once in the past four years...he'll be a quality #4 option, but he is another great character addition...and he'll be able to teach our young WR corps, too

Wish I could be as excited as everyone else but this signing was more about veteran leadership and depth than filling the #2 spot. Patten will not even beat out Copper or Henderson for that roll. He's more suited as the slot or fourth receiver where he can excel in mismatches, this is how New England used him and he was succesful but when he was asked to do more like in washington, he failed!

Good sign, will likley make team but not special and absoutly not our #2 receiver!
