I'd give the Vikes an "A" on their draft. They've selected impact players to win a championship.
We thumb our noses at defense and reach for a player we don't even need.
Jesus, I am broken-down, beaten man right now! |

I will only be okay with this pick if we get two defensive players in the second. _________________

Brodney Poole won't be there! Shaun Cody won't be there! Channing Crowder won't be there! Marlin Jackson won't be there! Thank god I'm moving to Houston, that way I can't watch Packer games and be depressed all the time.

| I was against the pick until I heard his interview with Suzie.I think he may turn into a Thurman Thomas type pick to where he is gonna be PISSED that everyone passed him up and works twice as hard to make them all pay. That could be a good thing in a couple years after he learns the system. We will have to see.And who knows...maybe one or more of those D guys will still be around at 51..no one had Rodgers falling anywhere near us. |

Calm Down Dain it is not the end of the world we was going to get a QB sooner or later it was just sooner. I don't like it but he will do good behind Farve and learn a lot. We still could get Canty, Thurman, Morrison, Shazor a lot of players that still can come in. There just was nobody worth it Cody either of them was not. Channing has fallen and could fall to us in the second. Why would we need Pool we have to safetys and he would just be a back up same with Marlin. _________________

Kiwi and Darth, I hope you guys are right. But right now I like my idea of kidnapping the decision makers, and runnign the rest of the draft. Okay, I'm totally kidding about this, but seriously I'm one pissed dude. I think I'm gonna go see a movie. |

| I think GB has done the best. How could you be dissapointed with a projected top 5 QB falling to 24. If you guys pick up some good players in the next 2 rounds you will have the best draft IMO |

Oh, that's wise thinking.....hey, let's pick Rodgers because he's pissed he didn't go in the top-ten! Forget the type of offense he played in(10 yard throws an shorter) and where he's from and his poor mechanics. Those don't mean a hill of beans. Afterall, a good QB is not genetically predisposed to be a good QB, he can learn to be! BULLPUCKEY!!!
I agree that the greatest defenders were gone, but at least make a shot! Poole or Marlin Jackson...one of those have to be better than Little and freeman???? |

I agree that they could have done better then Freemen and Little but we still could find a good kid in the second or third. With the second and third better be straight deffense. _________________

Look what sitting behind Brett did for Hasselbeck, Aaron Brooks, Mark brunell, and Kurt Warner these guys all became stars and lets hope Favre can do it again with rodgers.

| I think this was a very good pick. In recent years we've reached for guys and everybody got pissed off. Now, we pick someone that should have been gone long before the Packer's pick and you're all still pissed off. If we would have picked anyone else it would have been a big reach again. |
