| TRADE Jolley and 2nd from the Raiders To Jets for their 1st. What do you guys think? It's a good trade for both teams. Jolley was buried behind depth and the Jets need a TE. The picks even it out. |

Yea, buried in the depth chart cause he's not worth a first round draft pick. Don't know what the Jets are thinking here. Do you guys (Jets) still have Anthony Becht and Baker...? _________________ The Executioner has been executed. |

Baker is still likely to be the starter. While I think the raiders got the better end of the deal it wasn't that bad of a move for the jets. We move down to #38 and get a reasonable TE to play along side Baker. Obviously they weren't high on Heath Miller or didn't want to waste another 1st round pick on a TE.
By the way, maybe we pick Nugent now? _________________

| Just letting you guys know, you got a great set of hands with this guy. Don't ask him to block though. |

| Yeah, the Jets got the 47th. Moved down 19 spots for Jolley and a 2. Not a good move imo. We shoulda got the Raiders original #2. DT Travis Johnson, OT Khalif Barnes, OT Jamaal Brown and CB's Fabian Washington and Marlin Jackson were are going to be chosen around pick 26. |

| The Jets will probably select Mike Nugent will their first second round pick and then with the second second round pick select a CB maybe Brandon Browner or Corey Webster. |

The Jets got hosed. I personally have watched Jolley and think that Doug Jolley is below average. I don't think he was worth dropping 20 picks for. You could have gotten a guy like Matt Jones and put him at tight end. _________________

Jones said he won't play TE. And he's a guy not known to have great commitment so he won't be playing TE if he doesn't want to. He won't even be chosen in the first round anyway.
People need to know what they are talking about before they flip out. The trade was Jolley, 2nd round pick, and two 6th round picks for the #26 overall pick and a 7th rounder. |

Maybe Jones won't play tight end, however saying that he won't be a first rounder is not quite accurate. Most people have him going to Pittsburgh in the late end of round 1.
I'm not a Jets fan or a Raiders fan so I'm obviously not flipping out. As an objective football fan, I say the Raiders got the better end of the deal. _________________
