Apparentley we are looking to move up to the Texans spot at 10. After the trade for Schaub, Houston is looking to add picks and by moving up to 10 we can assure ourselves of Patrick Willis and/or Amobi Okoye....

Stay tuned

Pittsburgh radio....

They talked about there being a "certain player" we were targeting and didnt believe would make it to 15.

I have to assume it's Willis. After he ran a 4.37 at his Pro Day we probably felt he would be taken somewhere between 10-14. Moving up with Houston makes perfect sense imo....

I hope it is Anderson. It probably is Willis

Argh.

But I'd be happy going up to 10. If Anderson falls past 6 and 7, he'll make it to us.

I dont believe a second of any of this until I see a link or on TV, you know how rumors get started, But if any of it true, I bet you it is Anderson. Tomlin was at his pro day and as much as they try to keep their mouths shut, the media has their pick pegged year in and year out. Troy, Ben, Heath, Holmes were no secrets.

Maybe thinking moving Smith to DT in 43/46 looks and Keisel to LB in some sets, who would want a Simeon Rice clone more than an ex Bucs D coach. And Anderson is a Rice clone.

We might not need him.. but there is something about having a guy 10 years before he reaches 30... Okoye

I hope it doesn't happen. It'd be dumb to trade up before the draft, and really dumb to trade up for Willis IMO.

Dont forget about Levi Brown. If they dont give up their #2 to move up,that could be who it is.The reason for not giving up their #2 is because there will still be some good DE/OLB at their spot.

This is a very interesting idea. I wouldn't trade up before the draft though b/c anything could happen.
