don't get me rong I would love to see Tony hunt, Nate Ilaoa or that Fresno Wright kid in Blackngold this fall how ever dont be disaponted if we dont take a running back this year. This just might be due to the fact there may be the perfect replacement for the brusing Jerome Bettis in a kid i abolutley love by the name of Javorskie Lang out of the university of Texas A&M. I would not be surprised if pittsburgh skips out on a RB in the draft this year than taks this kid in the 1st or 2nd round next spring in the 08 Draft. Check out his highlight real below. The power and speed are amazing!!!! Much better than Michael Bush.

Bettis was a 4.5 guy coming out of school.

Lane will be lucky to break 5.0.

Quote:
When Bettis went to Notre Dame, he started gaining weight. Coach Lou Holtz and his assistants started whispering dirty words like "diet" and "hold the mayo."

Then Bettis ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds. It was the same time he ran in high school, and it was a lesson in Bettis Physics: he is somehow able to maintain his speed and agility even when he gets heavier. Effectively, when Bettis gains weight, it's like adding bricks to the bed of a pickup truck that's going downhill. He just gets harder to stop.

He's definately a bruiser but he'll never get outside on an NFL defense like that. Anyone looks good in a highlight reel.

The kid does look incredible. He reminds me more of Jamal Lewis the Bettis but either way i'de take him.
