I'm really liking the Presscot Burgess pick. I think he would be a great replacement for Farrior.

I think I'd change your 1b pick to David Harris and your 4b pick to Fairooz.

I don't think we need a Day 1 WR.

If we came outta this draft with Spencer, Harris, and Blalock I couldn't ask for any better. Throw in Jackson and Blades and I'd be stoked.

That being said, I don't think the Pats would make that deal.

The Pats arent going to make that deal....thats a terrible deal. They are looking to add depth now, no way they trade up now that they inked Thomas and Stallworth. Only way I see that happening is if Landry inexplicably falls to 15. Wont happen though, so this draft is very unlikely.

This is by far the most potential I've seen in a 5 round mock draft (not a fan of the final 2 picks).

A couple suggestions...

Brandon Siler. Take a CB in 4 (such as Johnathan Wade out of Tennessee). Not really a fan of Burgess either. Give me Tim Shaw or Quincy Black

Edit: As a previous poster said, 1b could be Harris. This would free up 3rd round to use on Kolby Smith.

1a. Anthony Spencer
1b. David Harris
2. Blalock
3. Kolby Smith
4. Tim Shaw/Quincy Black
4. Jacoby Jonaes/Aaron Fairooz
5. Justin Hickman DE/OLB UCLA

If Landry makes it to 15, we'll have better offers that that. And if he does and we trade outta the spot without a serious haul, I wouldn't be happy.

I really, really like the top half of that draft.

Blalock could fall that far but it's not very likely. We'll probably be looking at OG Arron Sears or Ben Grubbs at #46.

I'd rather have OLB Shaw or Black but they're going in the 3rd round. I think OLB Prescott Burgess isn't worth a 4th rounder, he's pretty much always been a 5th round and has failed to improve his stock any.

HB Blades is more of a 3rd rounder than 4th.

But I'll take that draft and be quite happy with it if it happens that way.

Dude pats have Davd Thomas and Ben Watson, why would they be salivating over Greg Olson? Watson could start on Most teams in the NFL and David Thomas is a promising up and coming TE theres no way that happens.

I don't necessarily love all your picks, but I love the trade down idea - although, I guess it depends on who falls to #15 - we might just want to take that guy ourselves depending on who it is.

I don't like Rice in the 1st. Go with Posluszny there if he's available. In the 2nd, OL is a good choice if we had 2 LBs in the 1st. In the 3rd, go with Jason Hill for our WR, or Brian Shaw at OLB if he's there. Burgess in the 4th isn't bad. I'd probably go CB or OL again in the 4th though. I'd also rather have Podlesh as a P too.
