Men,
I was viewing the latest pre-draft coverage on the NFL Channel today. One of the highly-respected analysts(the white dude with the Boston accent) rated the linebackers. He said he believes Burnett is going to develop into the best NFL linebacker of all LB's in this year's draft. He picked Burnett over D Johnson and Crowder.
One of his criticisms about Johnson surprised me. He showed a few clips about how DJ has issues with shedding blockers; said he's to weak at the point of attack, which is a big no-no in the NFL. However, the analyst did say DJ would be the first LB selected because of his rep and potential upside.
He flat-out said Crowder is a second-tier linebacker and will fall to the second or third rounds.
What do you guys think of this assessment? I never liked Crowder whatsoever, but I haven't seen much of Burnett. Is he sweet? |

Well, Since I live in Tennessee and am a VOLS fan my opinion may seem a little biased, but I wanted Burnett about 2 months ago.
I made a topic about him, but nobody cared.
He was the heart of the UT defense, and the best player on the team.
IF we run out of options in the draft, I may take him in the first.
If he is in for the second round, you better take him. |

Just to confirm, he's an outside backer, right? Barnett would still be in the middle? _________________ R.I.P. Pat Tillman, thank you for showing us what is really important in life. |

I don 't lile Mayock that much. If the Pack coul;d have any backer, we would take Johnson in a heartbeat. _________________

| I would love to get DJ to, but I think that we will be about 20 picks to late. |

Yeah, I know. I wonder if we would pick him if we had the first overall pick... _________________
