What say you about this dude? I heard he was, or will be in Green Bay soon to discuss a contract. The Journal/Sentinal seems to think their is a very good chance Green Bay will sign Chris Draft.
I don't know squat about this dude. Would he be a better fit, than say, reaching for a Channing Crowder with our first pick? I would tend to think that if you have the opportunity to add a decent LB in free agency, it's a much better gamble than try to shoot the moon in the draft.
However, this dude had 54 tackles last year. Hmmm, obviously he is not a starter, correct? If so, I am hoping the Packers would be signing him as a reserve.
What say anyone??? |

He may have had only 56 tackles last year but in 03' he had 124. But he may be brought in for depth...... but if we dont go for Crowder if he's there at our pick then Draft will probably be a starter. |

He had tackles in the 100's when he played outside. They switched him into the middle last season, where he wasn't as good. If he does get signed, Barnett would stay in the middle, because Draft is 3 inches shorter and a pound light than Barnett. I made a post about this a while ago, naming some good linebackers that manned the middle who are smaller than Barnett because people were all out Barnett to the outside. Draft would play outside if we signed him. _________________
