Does a safety need to be? There are NOT a ton of Ed Reeds, or Brian Dawkins types out there. Many..are "serviceable" to OK. Sharper used to be OK, then dropped off to where he just wasn't making tackles. I don't think there are that many Safeties that can turn a game around, they just need to actually make the tackles they are supposed to. Maybe it's me. Cover a TE, help out deep and make the right read. Nobody is asking them to cover Randy Moss every down. Just HIT THE LIVING CRAP out of him when he makes the catch across the middle.
HENCE: That's why, when looking at the holes the Packers have...safety is not, nor should it be, priority #1. |

but don't you think that if we're going to draft one to start he needs to be the best available in the draft. there is really anyone left in FA that's going to cover very well. if we could get Darius then we could look at FS say Brodney Pool.
what about this stuff of Kampman to the Vikes? any idea where the sources are coming from? _________________
