Based on that article (which is a great read, BTW), one could make a case that the Dolphins should draft Merriman. He would be able to play that OLB/DE hybrid position on the strong side of the defensive front. However, I'm not sure where that would leave Spragan. Can he play Will linebacker?

Very good article, I read it yesterday. Shows good insight to what our defense may look like. Could really have an impact on the draft if Saban doesn't know by now who will fill those positions.

I think he'll stick with our LBs unless we can get more than one or two 1st/2nd rounders. I think if we trade down in the 1st, this could really be huge. We could easily end up going Merriman or DJ...and they might have more value than an Antrel Rolle type even....
