Because Florida State lost the "Play-In Game" to Wisconsin. There was a vote on it, it's a little bit down below on this board.

Lets just be honest the NCAA will not give the fans what they want and give us a tourney until the BCS is forced to screw 3 or 4 teams out of it in one year.
They are making enough money they are able to just say screw the fans and their crazy "undisputed" national champioship hopes and we will sit back and let 3 teams go undefeated and not even get to say they played for a National Title |

Because OSU wasn't exactly great this year they started off terrible next season it will be impossible to leave OSU out.
