| Do you think the JETS will take a 2nd rounder for Abraham in the 2006 draft? Or do you think the SKINS will try to make a trade for him? |

| I think you could get him for a second rounder this year. No idea about one in next years draft. If they trade only a draft pick for him can they meet his contract demands and still sign their draft picks? |

| I think the cap hit from Coles' departure has ruled guys like Abraham out. |

I don't know what Wash would have to trade for him but that would be awesome if they got him. Maybe a 2nd and 4th this year and a 2nd next year? As long as they keep the 9th and draft a CB unless they swap picks for Abraham and a 5th that would also be ggod because there will still be quality CBs there. _________________ POINT PROVEN!!!! |

| mr.knowitall, The Redskins don't have a second rounder this year. sootedpair says that the Redskins don't have the cap to sign Abraham and he knows his stuff, so I won't entertain the thoughts of getting him on the team. Doesn't Abraham have some durability issues? I think the Redskins ought to just get Shawne Merriman, with the ninth pick, if he's available. |

We certainly can not pay Abraham what he wants and the jets will want more than just a 2nd for him. They can afford to keep him which will make them real picky with the offers.
Merriman at 9 or one of the CBs or trade down to pick up the 2nd. |

| Yeah... I was thinking, if Antrel Rolle or Mike Williams aren't available at the number nine spot, they ought to trade down a few spots and pick up David Pollack and a second or third round pick. |

HaHa no! I wish though Savage would send out pick 34 to NY in a heart beat to have Abraham play as our stand up OLB pass rusher in the 3-4. _________________

If the Skins draft Pollack, I might rip out my eyes so I don't have to watch that failure. I have a feeling that if Pollack is used as a DE, he's going to be a major bust. |

| Ah... I haven't actually seen too much of David Pollack. I only watched about two Georgia games last season. He's praised for his work ethic, smarts and his drive in everything that I read, so I just assumed that he'd be a 'core' guy. I don't see the Redskins really drafting him anyway... I have a strange feeling that they'll go DE in the first round, though. |

Pollack? far from it. You don't work as hard as Pollack and never quit on any play ever even when your up by 50 or losing by 50 because you are cocky. _________________

Wow, that was immature. I don't know how you became a mod but...back on the topic.
It would take more than a second rounder in 2006 for the Redskins to aquire Abraham. If that was all it took, you could bet he would be a Dallas Cowboy already.
Picks from future drafts have less value right now. So the chances for getting Abe for a 2006 2nd are very slim. |
