I LOVE the niners first two picks and both Okoye and Davis will be great, and Buster is on the niners team (the south) in the seinor bowl and from what i have heard mike singletary likes buster a lot.

63.) Tampa Bay Troy Smith-Ohio State(QB)
Interesting pick. Gruden will get a good look at him this Saturday.

give us Sidney Rice in the 2nd. Okoye will be very good. I dont know if I want him that early, but if it means that we just got John Randall, or leroi glover, or even tommie harris, then it is worth it.

What have the Steelers ever done to you?

If it turned out like this, I'd blow my brains out...

my knowledge on the steelers is a bit low...Would you want a complimentary safety? Tedd Ginn or something?

As before, what would you do in the situation?

After seeing all the Senior Bowl reports AFTER the weigh in, it would be difficult for the 49ers to pass on Okoye with their need on the d-line. Getting Buster Davis in the second isn't a bad pick either. He may not have the prototypical size for an 3-4 ILB, but the boy has game. Nice job.

33.) Oakland-Robert Meachem, Wr tenn
No need for him.. Joe Staley would be a much much much better pick..

Decent eagles picks. Don't think OLB is a second round need.

What would you pick in the given situation? for the second rounder that is...

Bush or Hunt would be great here and they are still available in your mock.

I was contemplating that...the change of pace for westbrook.

Ok, noted. :D

Eagles27 is giving you bad advice. There is no way we select Merriweather because of his character concerns.

Secondly there is a zero percent chance that andy reid takes a running back in the second. A DE, ILB or Corner are all more liklely.

18 Cincinnati Bengals - Adam Carriker, DE nebraska

Hi stock is soaring, he has the size and the motor. Can play De for a 4-3 or 3-4. He will do good here.

Good bengals pick but reason why dislike pick is hes justin smith with 2 more inchs...would be better just resign smith and use pick on something else I would think.

OK, the first thing they need is a better pass rush. I cringe every time I see Revis or McCauley as their 1st pick. There is nothing wrong with their DB's that a better pass rush wouldn't cure. Moss or Woodley or even Moses would be a better pick than OL. Maybe OG Grubbs in the 2nd if he's there.

Don't need a S. Anthony Smith was a high pick last year and they like him just fine. Holmes will be a good WR.

I hope they use multiple high picks on LB's, at least two.

hmm well i doubt denver takes tank tyler. reports say hes lazy and unmotivated and i dont think shanny wants someone like that, despite his size. also i dont feel rouse is a first round pick. weddle is much better. anyway i think that this pick for denver wuld be the BPA at DE and the second round pick with gattis is pretty good.

i just figured that he was the next best DT when it comes to being a run stuffer. And if their is a coach that can get him working its shanahan.

I guess the angle I was going for is that if Safety becomes a problem for the bears, he can play there. But if they don't find a replacement for Briggs; because I believe he will be gone, he could gain another 10 lbs and fill in as a flashy linebacker.
