probably the worst show in the history of television. Mike Myers' spoof of it in Fahrenheit 9/11 was so hilarious. i would love to know how this show is still on the air though. it has been the same thing for the last 15 years, and yet it still has a great time slot on FOX. wow. _________________

those people arrested have to sign a waiver allowing Cops to use it. Usually those people want others to see what they did and went thru. Personally, I like it. Like to see those people get BUSTED! _________________

My favorite show besides the "office"
Some of those people are complety stupid to use such blant lies, any one can tell they are lying by how they are just making stuff up on the fly.
Some great comedy is shown on this show as well |

No, what is COPS and what is it about?
I am only 16 so when I was little and it came on before Americas Most Wanted, I was run around singing the theme song _________________ I'd rather get gunned down than dumb'd down |

Cops is a great show and it even gets a lot of time on TV over here in England. I don't know how people can call it crap. _________________

personally i hate it.the show is getting off on peoples misfortune and second,if the show was "cops uncensored" you would see how cops really treat those people. _________________

I watch it every Saturday night at my work. I love it. Also a little trivial tidbit, I do believe that it was the first reality t.v. show....I think. |

I love how you call it "people's misfortune," as though committing a crime is is an "unfortunate" event for a person. Last I checked, a criminal makes the decision to be a criminal. No misfortune involved.

I know. Imagine how the cops' human emotions might let them be more lenient towards criminals if they weren't under the spotlight and pressure to actually make an arrest.
Not every cop is a bad cop. There are some, but I'd say the good cops far outnumber the bad. Two of my best friends are police officers and both have more integrity than about anyone else I know. It took them a lot of hard work to become officers, and that hard work usually weeds out the bad. Not always, of course, but I'm not a fan of generalizations so I mention this situation in hopes that you might not over-generalize. _________________ What came first? The misery or the music? |

why do we need to see people getting arrested ? to me thats sick, its like people are entertained by it.and whats unfortunate are these peoples lifestyles.lets make a video of all your mistakes and/or your friends and families mistakes (everyone has disfunction in their family) and let the world see _________________
