Just saw that the jokers at pro football talk are saying they wouldn't be surprised to see leinart fall to 13 or 17, since it looks like tennessee will take young:

anyways, who among you would be happy if we grapped leinart at 9?

I heard on tv yesterday that the titans front office wants young, but the coaching staff wants leinart, and that it could come down to the owners finial decision. I dont see why they wouldnt reunite Norm Chow with Leinart, but I dont see him falling to us. I wouldnt take him if he did. I dont think he will be a successful QB at this level. He might turn out average, but not worth taking him to have him be the 3rd string guy behind McCown and Kitna. If he is there when we pick we should trade down.

Theres no way Leinart will fall to us. The Titans would be stupid to take Young over him too. I really dont think Vince will be as good as Leinart. But if some crazy thing was to happen theres no way we should pass on him either.

Of course you take Leinart or Young at 9 if they fall.

it would be a tough, and much scrutinized decision. Leinart is a supreme talent that you CAN NOT pass on. I don't know whatwe would do with McClown and Kitna, but Leinart could be UNBELIVABLE

first, IF Leinart falls past 3, he will be picked by either the Raiders or the Jets.
second, IF he were to somehow fall, i would take him

I'd trade down. There would be half-a-dozen teams willing to trade up for him, not to mention that the Cardinals might be tempted into a 1,2 trade similar to what the Lions got from the Browns last year.

Anyone else get the feeling that this is going to be an incredibly interesting draft day?

I would say the Lions have to take them. We have a lot of QBS but were not stable . In a different year Leinhart would be the #1 pick overall. If we can get him at #9, I would be more than willing to make room for a future franchise QB. That I can only imagine what Mike Martz would do to him.

No, I wouldn't take Vince or Matt - I would any other time but I don't its in our best interest even though McCown probable isn't the future. But you have to trade down though, even if Huff is there - I doubt he'll be available if one of the QB's are though.
