I really like this move. I think He and Teel can now battle is out for the 3rd spot at QB.

I think Reilly fits more what Carroll likes, unfortunately. I actually really like Teels potential, but it doesn't seem like he fits on this team. Reilly is a local kid, so this is nice.

I did too. I don't know anything really about Reilly, what does he have that Teel doesn't? Is he more athletic?

I like what Teel could bring as well.

Reilly seems pretty athletic though. Apparently a bit lacking in arm strength (which Teel has more of)

Yea. He is smaller and much more athletic. I don't know why Pete Carroll loves those athletic guys when he thrived with guys like Palmer and Leinart (neither of which I would characterize as athletic).
Personally, Teel brings more to the table for me, but Reilly has potential as well.

And to what Tooki said, Reilly does have less of an arm, but if you watched Teel throw he doesn't have the tightest of spirals or very good touch, unfortunately, so that may play into this as well.

One thing we must remember though is, this is merely competition, and we shouldn't just assume that Teel is done with Seahawks. I have no problem bringing another guy in just to make sure that Teel doesn't kick back in his recliner and think he's got the job.

I disagree with the analysis on Reilly. Reilly is like a mini Ben Roethlisberger- his arm is a touch weaker than Roethlisberger, but it is definitely stronger than Teel's arm. Reilly fits in with what Carroll seems to want exactly and I think he is more likely to finish as the 3rd QB at this point than Teel is, due to that reason.

And yes, Reilly is pretty athletic.

I actually think Palmer was a fairly athletic guy before the injury.

If actually is a mini-Big Ben physically, then maybe he's worth trying to develop.

I'd really be surprised if he makes the team. Carroll is bringing in a thrower for camp. He doesn't want hass or CBJ (clip board Jesus) to throw out there arm. Plus might add some insight to the Rams offensive scheme and design.
