| I've been hearing rumors about Joey Thomas gettting moved to Safety, Do you think That would be a good idea? Why or why not. |

i think it SOUNDS like a good idea for a team that is struggling at the safety position. his speed and athleticism makes it look like he could be on the ball anytime it comes downfield. HOWEVER his lack of size is going to result in missed tackles for big plays, i don't see him being able to offer any support in the run game, or rush the quarterback like a leroy butler.
let's bates try it though hopefully i'll be dead wrong and Thomas will be a stud back there.

He can't tackle that is plain and simple if he is moved back to safety it would be a terriable move.

You have to remember that he was a rookie last year. I don't get down on rookies unless they show the same exact poor play their following year. If they improve, I'll be happy.

Didn't seem to keep the Vikes from signing Sharper. I seen better tackling at a girls hockey game. |
