Absolutely insane. For those who don't watch, someone could be walking down the street, blow a little powder in your face and within a minute, you are virtually their slave. You will have no problem taking out your life savings and handing it to the person who gave you the drug.

Just adds to the argument that it will be people that wipe each other out in the end, not a natural disaster.

Thoughts?

The author of the article didn't try the drug. He got scared by hearing stories. I cannot believe this crap got printed at CNN. This is worthy of the tabloids.

Its nightshade. I think most people know its effects.

Free will, what's that Smile ? Not much different from holding a gun to someone's head, but that's still pretty scary.

The difference is, you walk around completely coherent and this person can act as your best friend. When someone is holding a gun to your head, people may notice

lol, urban legends about Scopolamine have been around for years; it is not some magical "truth serum" and does not force people to lose their free-will.

Didn't Hannibal Lecter use this on Mason Verger to make him cut up his face and feed the pieces to the family dog?

This article isn't very legit. The guy paints such an inaccurate picture of Colombia and his sources (a shady drug dealer) doesn't make him very credible.

That was funny and stupid. Probably at a 4:6 ratio

It'd be funny if the drug dealer turned out to be some actor who couldn't find work and was mowing the narrating guy's lawn, until he got an idea.

If it was all true, there would be a massive global outrage. Terrorists would be using this in their attacks. Hell, terrorists can just use regular citizens to carry out their attacks. It would be a global issue and you'd hear about it from more credible sources. Not to mention I'd already have this in my hands so I can use it to make my girlfriend clean my room.

if you truly do have a girlfriend, i have to think you've made use of it already, or something similar.

Very Happy
