With so many picks we might be able to make an attractive offer to a team drafting late in the 1st. For example, Dallas who is picking 11 & 20 does not have a third or a sixth round pick. We might be able to trade their 20 for our 2nd round (4th pick in second) and a 3rd? If we did that we could draft Travis Johnson with our second pick, and an offensive player with our 1st. Or DJ with our first and Mark Clayton with our second.

That's an interesting way of looking at it, with everyone trading down we might find a taker. The way I would like to see it work would be take Mike Williams with the first pick and trade the second pick up into the late first round to get Ciatrick Fason out of Florida.

I like this way of thinking, that way we still retain a third, but pick up a first round talent rather thn second. Travis Johnson would be a beast in Monte's system of flowing linemen.
