i boo this Dolphins draft, very badly.

Miami Dolphins
Team Needs

1. Wide Receiver: There is basically nothing here beyond Chris Chambers and Marty Booker so the team has made little secret of their desire to add another playmaker at wideout early in the draft.

you get
82 Miami - Greg Jennings WR Western Michigan
Height: 5-11 1/8 | Weight: 197 | 40-Time: 4.48

Official Bio

Was extremely productive throughout his career...Runs excellent routes...Has great hands and good ball skills...Is not afraid to go across the middle...Can create after the catch and came through with a lot of big plays...Has some special teams potential...Smart and a hard worker...Tremendous character & intangibles.

Has only average size and a frail frame...Lacks elite timed speed and is more quick than fast...Is not much of a deep threat and won't stretch the field...Will struggle with physical corners and needs to get stronger...Is not much of a blocker due to his size...Didn't play top competition on a weekly basis...Upside?

The type who doesn't have all the physical tools you look for but at a certain point you can't ignore the production...Not the prospect his press clippings would lead you to believe...Could make his mark as a #3 or possession receiver in the pros.

2. Outside Linebacker: With Junior Seau now gone there is some concern at linebacker and even though Sedrick Hodge was signed he is a below average starter and there is very little depth as well.

You get 114 Miami - Terna Nande OLB Miami(Ohio)
Height: 6-0 1/8 | Weight: 232 | 40-Time: 4.51

Official Bio

Very athletic and explosive...Has tremendous speed and quickness...Extremely strong...Has great range and makes plays sideline-to-sideline...Does an excellent job in coverage...Has a non-stop motor...Has enormous special teams potential.

Does not have the size or bulk you look for...Can be too aggressive...Doesn't play quite as fast as he times...Struggles to shed blockers...Still has some health and durability concerns...Might need to be in the right system / scheme to succeed.

Can bench press 520 lbs and squat 620 lbs...Family hails from Nigeria...Brother, Tersee, is a safety for the RedHawks...Prototypical WILL linebacker and a workout warrior who at the absolute least will excel as a backup and special teams ace.

3. Safety: If names like Travares Tillman and Deke Cooper don't do much for you you're not alone and the Phins could probably stand to upgrade at both starting spots in the deep middle of the field.

You get 16 Miami- Antonio Cromartie CB Florida State
Height: 6-2 1/8 | Weight: 208 | 40-Time: 4.41

Official Bio

A tremendous natural athlete...Exceptionally fast for a guy of his dimensions...Has outstanding size with long arms...Has great hands and ball skills...Has a knack for coming away with the big play and interception...Has fluid hips and is a pure cover man...Physical and will support the run...A threat to score every time he gets his hands on the ball...Is also a good return man...Proved to be a game changer during his short career with the Noles and came through with a number of impact plays...Has a ton of upside and hasn't even begun to reach his vast potential.

Is coming off of a knee injury...Has only played in 25 total games and has very little starting experience...Very raw and his footwork and technique will need development...Needs to be more consistent...Is not a great tackler...Aggressive and will take too many risks at times...A project who has a high risk factor and his selection will be made mostly based on promise rather than actual production.

Tore the ACL in his left knee in July and missed the entire 2005 season...Was a member of the FSU track team that won the ACC Championship in 2004...If his knee checks out okay in exams and he works out like he is capable of there is no reason why this guys stock won't soar leading up to the draft...A rare prospect who might have been a Top 5 overall pick in 2007 had he gone back to school.

With Cromartie, Eddie Jackson could easily play FS. The fact that so much of the Dolphins secondary has changed in the last two years, it is never a bad idea to stock up on talent there. Will Poole and Will Allen are good but don't put stock in Reynaldo Hill.
