"One player who could draw interest from the Patriots is inside linebacker Jay Foreman, who was released Monday by the Houston Texans. Foreman, who turned 29 after the season, finished second on the Texans with 93 total tackles in 2004 despite missing the last five games of the season with a sprained ankle. A three-year starter in the Texans' 3-4 defense, Foreman led Houston with a career-high 193 tackles in 2002 and finished with 180 in 2003. A six-year veteran, Foreman spent his first three seasons with Buffalo (1999-2001) before being traded to Houston. "

29 really isnt old. Thats a HUGE drop in age from Roman Phifer.
Also, Belichick doesn't take young ILB's. To play in his defense, he plays vets. PEople have been clamoring for years to draft a young ILB and it never happens. Every ear we hope it changes and we get one, but it doesn't happen. Every ILB we've had under BB has been a veteran. Bruschi was with the team for awhile before the move. Phifer was signed. TJ was with the team. Belichick will always take a vet over a youngster.
Id still like us to at least take a kid on day two to develop, cuz after a few years of learning, he'll have that knowledge, and we'll have a younger ILB.
I would love to have a young stud inside, but it doesnt appear Belichick values that as high as the fans do. |

LoL, too bad the Eagles are a year late if indeed that were true.
Coming from an Eagles fan, the only thing this is is sour grapes. |

I think the Patriots are not done at all. The Eagles fan is hoping.
I am hoping, but I know they are just gonna bounce back.
hello, they have Bill. I will admit it the best coach ever
I think thier worst loss was thier DC. Wies is a bad loss but krennel is worse. _________________ Will Ferrell is the funniest man alive!
