greetings Raider nation
Just a Vikings fan who is curious as to what we should do with Napoleon Harris. Some seem to think he'll line up as a strongside backer and others say he's a mike backer. I confess I didn't watch alot of his play and I'm wondering if anyone here, having watched him play more extensively has any thoughts on how we should use him. Thank you. |

Napolean Harris showed early promise by starting at MLB in his rookie season and supplanted long-time starter Greg Biekert. He had a very solid rookie campaign and showed lots of promise.
He can play outside (as he did last year), but has some problems in coverage because he's stiff in the lower-body. He's a rock and hits hard, but he's got more straight line-speed , so if he takes the wrong angle, it's over (as in a bad thing for Harris). He's not really super quick or fluid so I think his ideal position is at the MLB. |
