He'll be a restricted F/A which means that the Broncos will tender him an offer to where if any team signs him away through an offer sheet, that the Broncos decide to not match, the Broncos will receive that teams 1st and 3rd round pick.
If they decide to trade him outright, I would have to believe that the asking price will start around the 1st and 3rd round picks. _________________

Well if he is not traded then he will be "tendered", since he is a Restricted Free Agent (RFA).
The question is if he is not traded, then what tender do we put on him. If he is tendered and nobody takes him we would have to pay the following to him:
1st & 3rd: $2.56M
1st: $2.01M
2nd: $1.41M
Since Brandon is a top 5 WR my guess is that we will tender him for a 1st & 3rd and many teams will be interested in him. _________________

I think everyone would agree with the 1st and 3rd, for a couple of reasons. First, we beileve he is worth close to that and will probably get something in that range. Secondly, if no one does trade for him, and he stays and will play next year, even 2.56M is a bargain for a player of his calibur. |

We have a thread going HERE on Marshall's imminent departure. Let's keep all the Marshall discussion in that thread until the story takes another turn. _________________ big_palooka:
