we picked up brad johnson in the 1992 draft (9th round)

not much of a draft that year. was that one of the years we were recovering from giving picks to dallas? |

brad johnson must feel alright though. i mean, drafted in the 9th round, sat on the bench for years, but still playing and with a super bowl ring.
and made what, $30-40 million in the process? |

johnson was from florida state and was drafted in 1992. charlie ward from fsu won the heisman in 1993.
did charlie back up brad? was brad charlie's backup, but was still drafted? |

| Neither. Brad started college as a basketball player, then changed to football. He backed up Casey Weldon as a Jr and Sr - hence his 9th round selection. |
