wellllllll back in the good ol' days the draft had 12 round...... Kenan McCaradel was a 12th round pick himself......

brad johnson must feel alright though. i mean, drafted in the 9th round, sat on the bench for years, but still playing and with a super bowl ring.

and made what, $30-40 million in the process?

johnson was from florida state and was drafted in 1992. charlie ward from fsu won the heisman in 1993.

did charlie back up brad? was brad charlie's backup, but was still drafted?

Neither. Brad started college as a basketball player, then changed to football. He backed up Casey Weldon as a Jr and Sr - hence his 9th round selection.
