Skins threw in a draft pick in that deal. Edge is as good as Portis, I would say better since I think Portis is overrated and Surtain is several rungs down from Bailey. Skins got jobbed in that trade as they usually do with the Boy genius running the team. |

| I don't think that Miami will give up anymore draft picks this yr because they already are without a 2nd and 5th...and no way they make the trade and swap 1st rnd picks...you only get to draft that high so often...so if the trade happens I would think that it would involve future picks...the dolphins don't have tons of cap space either... |

I think its much more likely that we trade any player (Surtain, Thomas, Taylor, etc) for draft picks instead of for players.
I am pretty sure that we will take Brown at #2. Now, if we could get a first round for Taylor (not that I want to see this) or Surtain (this MAY happen if someone bites hard) that would be better for the team than to pick up a player, even if it is Edge. |
