^I have nothing to add right now, but I will say that I love the new draft schedule. I didn't initially like it, but the primetime schedule will help out greatly (I also missed most of this past draft thanks to senior prom... I missed the joy of the Chiefs draft thread Surprised ).

Will post when I find out some dates, though. Wink

NFL spring meeting starting today in Dallas.

As far as I've heard one issue (other than the CBA situation) may be extending the new OT rules to the regular season. Not necessarily decision time, but coaches (though opposed to the procedures as such) obviously prefer a single standard throughout the season.

I actually like the new OT rules.

With some discussion going on what kind of activity is allowed during OTA and what is not I (again) dug into the CBA a bit.
By accident I found some provisions that may give an indication about the Chiefs Training Camp dates:

On July 2 the Chiefs' offseason conditioning program has to end. Those activities are limited to 14 weeks.

Veteran Players (excluded QB and injured players) will have to report to Training Camp 15 days before the first pre-season game. That would be July 29. For a period of ten days before this date they will not be allowed to participate in any football related activity with the club, not even on a voluntary basis. They are allowed to work out at club facilities on their own though.

Training Camp may start earlier for Rookies, however it doesn't make much sense to have them hanging out at St. Joe without the veteran surrounding cast. Thus I anticipate that Training Camp for the Rookies, QBs and injured players will start approximately a week before the veterans are allowed to join them. That would be around July 22.

Hope that gives you some advice for travel arrangements!
have fun @ St. Joe!

Camp dates released: Chiefs will move to St. Joe 29 July, practice starts 30 July. Chiefs will break Camp the day before pre-season game 2.
Other dates added to the calendar.

No rookie pre-camp, but Rooks will hang around arrowhead for two more weeks now.
