Comp. pick for Edge?

If I'm correct the Colt's will get a comp pick for Edge next year...so how high of a pick will it be? Do they go all the way up into round two?

Third Round is the highest comp pick awarded and the Jets were the only team to receive a third rounder this year, by that note the Colts next year should get a third and maybe one more(4th?)

i would say a third for edge and a fifth for thornton

is it just me, or does it seem like the Colts kinda got a raw deal with the comp pick for Demulling. He was a big peice to our line, i think we should have at least gotten a fifth.....

Edge should definately warrant a third rounder, he holds all the Colts records in rushing basically, and i agree with the post above mine that we will get a 5th for thornton, it just seems like thats the number the NFL will pin us at.

the comp picks are decided on a combination of
1. size of contract, 2. players impact, 3. postseason awards

1 I'm not really sure how much he signed for
2. played in 14 games, started only 5
3. nothing

well maybe the system is a little flawed, because we lost an integral part to our team, who cares what he does for his new team really, it should be based on what he did on our team... well any system is gonna be flawed but you guys get what i mean, right?
