Congrats to CJ, well deserved. I think the Titans have found their punter of the future in Kern. I read somewhere he is signed thru 2010 Cool .

Hahaha, I bet I was the only one who thought POW in this instance was prisoner of war.

First he's named player of the week... and now he's saying he doesn't see why 10-6 isn't impossible.

Damn, I love me some CJ...

Something I don't understand is, why did we put Trapasso on the practice squad only to release him? When we placed our main punter on IR, why did we sign another guy off the street instead of just bringing AJ up from the practice squad? Makes no sense to me at all. If we felt we needed a veteran FG kicker or something, I can understand that. But he's just a punter and pretty good at it.

A) Trap was extremely overrated by this board... but he did have potential.

B) The reason he was placed on the PS, and not the active roster was because the team wanted to also convert him into the holder, which he hadn't done.

C) When Hodges was signed, they did it with his holding abilities in mind... even if he wasn't the punter that Trap could have been.

D) Kern came in, and seems to have solved our punter issues... and is a good holder too.

E) No more need to try to develop Trap since Kern can and should be our long term answer at P.
