Most of the time people who do that type of stuff are at the very bottom of the pile so you can't see it. Spikes was at the top of it.

Well then he is stupid. He obviously wasn't fighting for the ball if he was on the top of the pile, and just had an intent to hurt. If he was fighting for the ball, yeah I'd feel a little better. But this is just stupid.

Yeah, it wasn't very bright to do it at the top of a pile. But honestly, this doesn't affect my opinion on Spikes ability or character what so ever. Considering that the only thing that separates this from what normally happens at the bottom of every pile is the visibility, you can't really be too harsh on it. He wasn't trying to blind the guy, he was trying to get the football.

That being said, I do think he should have been suspended for at least a game if not two. It is a normal occurrence in the game of football, but it isn't supposed to be something visible to the fans. It has the potential to send the wrong message about the game to viewers.

"intent to hurt" I don't agree with what he did but I'm not going to lie. I love the idea of a MLB with the "intent to hurt"

So Im not really pying attention to the Penn State D, just watching some of their games for other reasons. But this kid keeps impressing me and showing up around the ball. Doesnt look like the biggest or fastest guy in the world, but he has some closing speed. Plays the ball well and can get to the Qb.
Also he has a sweet stache.

Josh Hull MLB/OLB. Any of our Penn St fans have anything to add about this guy?

Very good game. One player that has impressed me very much in every game I've watched of Alabama's this year (which admittedly is only three, so take this with a grain of salt) is their kicker, Leigh Tiffin. The kid's got a leg, is accurate, and can kick under pressure. He's got talent.

Nope..

Id like to point out that all of us (barring a few guys) screamed for another kicker. And not a single man was brought in for competition, yet pick 5-7 are nowere to be seen.. Swing and a miss Jerry, swing and a miss.

(I know this is like swearing in church, but it needed to be said. Jerry is still the man)

Greg Hardy hurt himself again. I'm wondering if he'd slip to say the 3rd round due to injury concerns and allow us to pick him up (I've got the 1st 2 picks earmarked for safety and O-line depth).
