One of the best players in the game. He is a special player, you just have to follow him with your eyes and look for him, he does all the small things perfectly. Hes a spider, he traps all his opponents like he has a invisible web. He is sooooo cooool.

I feel bad for him. Didn't he just get a new contract? He's stuck there for a while.

It doesn't matter about the 40, it matters about fluid hips, short bursts of acceleration, and game speed. Nnamdi clearly has all of those since he has been one of the most successful cornerbacks ever. You simply can't throw his way.

raiders ought to trade him.

he isnt the kind of player that makes the whole team better alone, he has been out and the TEAM isnt much worse. they should use his high value to help get some building block pieces they need before a shutdown corner.

plus we all want to see him on a good team..

Here is to hoping he goes to the Jets....

Imagine Revis and Namndi in the same field.

I'm sorry, but you fail there. Revis is overrated as hell, Aso takes a massive dump on his face

Revis can cover Randy Moss. Asomugha cannot.

What a joke.....Revis can't cover Moss, if he can't cover Ginn. Bailey can cover Moss and so can Aso. Revis is the most overrated NFL player.

Aso had a very hard time against Randy Moss last time they played.

he is pretty good.

raiders have so many flaws in their defense, opposing QBs have so many other easy accesses to get down the field, so they probably don't even attempt to throw his way. if he plays one on one all the time and qb constantly throw his way im sure he will get beat eventually, i think he has gotten beat before.

He got beat in the Monday Night opener against Vincent Jackson. I mean, he wasn't totally blown out of the water on the play, but Jackson beat him to the punch on a nice TD he had.

Yep the only time he's gotten beat this whole season
wasn't even his fault really wasn't it huff's man?

It was Routt's man

Moss's speed and quickness advantage might be the reason, then again Aso can shut down any other WR in the NFL so it shouldn't really matter. Aso isn't a deep cover guy, more of a med or short pass cover guy, still the arguably the best CB next to Bailey.

What's your deal, man?

Revis got burned on a deep route by one of the fastest receivers in the game. It happens.

The bottom line is this: aside from that one play to Ginn, Revis shut down Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Marques Colston, Terrell Owens and Whoever He Covered in the last Dolphins game. - That's not just me saying it, it's a fact. Ask any Texans/Saints/Pats/Bills/Dolphins fan.

Nobody is saying Bailey sucks, and besides, this is a Asomugha thread YOU created.

Asomugha is a great, great CB. More than likely the best in the NFL. Revis and Bailey are right there with him, along with Sheldon Brown.

Did Darrelle steal your girlfriend or something? I can't figure out why you hate him so much.

Because his coach is fat.

wasn't "getting beat" by Randy Moss something similar to three catches and forty yards? I'm pretty sure I read those statistics somewhere.

Andre Johnson beat him a few weeks ago in a Long TD pass

but hey thats Andre Johnson counter beating the best with his better then best Razz

man we are so lucky to have him on our team but this CB is good 2 much better then the ones we got

First of all it was on Chris Johnson, second of all it wasn't even a TD. Andre Johnson in two games against Oakland has been held to check. Last year he had 2 catches for 19 yards and in week 4 he had 2 catches for 66 yards.

First of all he CHOSE to sign that contract....

Second...don't feel too bad he's being paid more in a year than you and I combined will make in our lifetimes...

And also, there is no perfect CB in the league. They will all get beat at some point. Aso is not perfect but he's as close as they come. He will get beat from time to time, it happens. There are always fluke plays, Ginn vs Revis, Aso v. Jackson. Nearly indefensible plays, any corner would be beat.

Aso v. Jackson was a PERFECT throw by Rivers right in between coverages (Aso and Routt)

Revis v. Ginn was a play action and Ginn is incredibly fast.

It was. No TD catch on Aso either.
