For the past two season I have wanted us to bring in a Vet Reciever.

I was big on Berrian and even though we had a shot at him we let him slip away, we took walker instead and at the time i was glad we picked up a vet, since then it obviously was nothing to be happy about.

Last year i really wanted to make a push for Boldin, my thought was our 1st and 2nd and fargas, no im glad we didn't do it, fargas has the heart of a lion, and i see good things to come from mitchell, and yes i think given time dhb will develope into a solid starting wr. now looking back on the situation i dont think boldin was really on the markit anyway.

so im moving on, but with a corps of recievers the way it is now, murphy is the only bright spot, i know i might get burned for not saying chaz, but the way he is recovering i have to be a little skeptic, DHB and n miller need some time before the are really ready to make an impact, JLH i dont think will ever be a top tier reciever, great for ST though. Watkins and walker i dont think will be around next year.

so i am hoping we bring in a vet to jolt this corps of receivers and give us a consitant weapon on the recieveing side of the ball other than zach

vincent jackson, malcolm floyd, and lance more really pop out to me.

I know i mentioned 2 chargers but if we can snag one of them i think it would be great, and the saints have the depth at wr i can see them letting moore go.

any thought

VJ would be nasty but he'd def cost an arm and a leg especially bc the bolts won't want him going to a rival

Malcolm Floyd I really like, I would be extatic with him. Also a vet with great hands like Muhammad. We shouldn't go after a high end WR though lie VJ because it would cost too much.

A linebacker in FA would be nice, considering how many there are hitting FA.

+1. I've never seen fans give up this early. Mocks are out, FA threads are up. It's comical.

To answer the question, I would rather get a vet QB that can play with the WR we have. We could get Tim Brown in his prime and his chemistry with Russell would kill him.

What FA QBs are out there in '10?

Kevin Walter would be a great #2 and maybe even steal #1 from Chaz. Either way that would be a very promising pair of WR's to deal with and benefit the QB.

C'mon now play fair. We all know mocks come up because whats the point into looking in the immediate future with this team playing the way it is. Got have some light somewhere. This team needs to be fixed.

Yeah Chaz and Kevin astarting and DHB,Murphy from the slot and in 4 WR set's...with Miller as 5th sounds good to me...
However Chaz seems like a bit injury prone and Kevin is right after a surgery and plays worse then he did before...

It doesn't matter what receiver we bring in because we have no qb to get him the ball. Once we get a qb than worry about a receiver.

why did you steal RaiderX's avatar ?

he made that for himself - not for people to jack and use for themselves.

Yea I like Walter. He'd be a nice pickup.

I see you picked up my custom avatar. It only has an "X" on it. Laughing

Last time I checked the website is called footballs future

i'm not giving up on the raiders but lets face it, they pretty much have to win out to make it to the playoffs, and right now the only wins i see coming are the chiefs and redskins, and either one of those teams can beat us. so i will start getting ready for the off-season.

I know we need a better qb, but since there are alot of threads out there on that subject i figured i would bring up another area we could use some help in, if you wanna bash me for that fine, get over it.
