hmmm Confused It can't hurt but I don't see us needing him with Bowe/Bradley/Wade/Long. Heres to hoping he can be what he used to lol.

The Kansas City Chiefs claimed WR Chris Chambers on waivers. So he's staying in the AFC West.

I agree 110% that Long needs to get all the reps he can, and I believe he will. Taking snaps away from Bradley who has done nothing this season won't hurt my feelings. Chambers FTW Smile

Watched a couple Chargers games this season, or parts of them and I am honestly surprised it took this long. He has been dropping a lot of catchable balls...not really what we need but hey here's to making moves and trying to find a combination that will win us a couple more games.

I think it was mentioned, but I think this is a perfect example of how Pioli and Haley are desperately searching for a wide receiver that can stretch the field and provide even a remote threat down the field.

agreed, i definitely see us picking up a playmaking WR through the draft in one of the first two rounds of the 2010 draft.

Just wait until he displays his advanced case of Samie Parker syndrome on 3rd down in a critical situation.

I'm not a fan of this signing at all unless he'll be nothing more than a 5th WR for us.

I don't believe we need to cut anyone right away as LJ doesn't count against a roster spot for this week.

Who knows, if Chambers continues with the dropsies, we may cut Chambers after this week.

Oh - by the way: Chambers is due to make 4.55 M$ GUARANTEED this year even if he gets cut after this week ... 9/17 of that (= 2.41 M$) falling on the Chiefs ... pretty cheap pickup I think .... eeehhh ... NOT!

Yet another reason for me to hate the signing...
