Gruden couldnt get Grad to throw a TD why do yall think Cable or Hackett can? |
JR has a whopping 2.
I really do feel that if we had started the year with Grad (and please note/understand, I didn't want Gradkowski, don't think he's the long-term answer, don't think he's a starting calliber QB) he would have us in a better position than 2wins. I also believe he would have had his 1st, 2nd, and some more TD's since 2006. That doesn't mean I think Gradkowski is the ish, it goes to show WHAT LITTLE FAITH I have in JR. I believe JR has been THAT bad, that we'd be better off in the short-term with a pereniall 2nd/3rd string NFL qb..... It's more about how much I feel JR is holding us back, MUCH less about believing Bruce is the man. I just think he'll try harder, work harder, be more of a leader, etc... you know, all the things JR doesn't care to do/be. He'll just make less $$$$ and probably provide more wins. AGAIN, that doesn't mean I have a man-crush on Grad, I don't, personally I don't care much for him or Charlie. We chose to go into the season with a raw talent at QB and basically scrubs to back him up.
Al put all our eggs in the JR basket and then JR was pass-rushed, felt the wind hit him, fell backward on his backfoot to pass, and he dropped the basket. DHB went in to pick it up, but fell on the way and the basket bounced off his hands... McFadden tripped over his own toes and fell face first in the basket crushing any hope, and Thus went our season. _________________

| IMO Cable will make it the rest of the year.. Who knows after that Al could fire him and hire another puppet master. My guess is J.Fassel or H.Edwards |

him or marshall. i have a feeling hackett would bench JR because of his close monitering of work ethic & progress |
And he's been grooming Gradkowski since his Tampa days.
Not doubt in mind, the only person in the organization who actually wants Russell to start is Davis. The coaching staff have to be over his lackluster play and inability to move the offense. |
LOL!!!
Did he just say grooming Gradkowski.
That's funny. If Gradkowski is his protege, I really hope your not serious about him being the head coach. This is going even further backwards. We won't win another game. |
I would put money on the fact that Gradkowski/Hackett offense would produce 10 fold over the Cable/Russell offense.
Regardless, this is about Cable and Do we think he will make it to coach another game? Answer the question. _________________

I'll stick with the woman beater til the end of the year and hope Mr. Senial forgets his ways of the past, figures out how to hire a real coach, executes the hiring, and hands over control. I know, that's a lot to hope for, but maybe... _________________

I think Cable makes it the rest of the year.
After that I think he is gone, I think we will see another attempt to get Gilbride and if he doesn't work out you will see some names like Fassel appear and so on and so for. _________________

He should be gone. This is the perfect time to dump him.
He is a terrible play caller and HC.
Our performance on the field proves it.
Obviously he has off the field issues that are an even bigger distraction.
He is not the long term or short term answer for HC. Neither are JR and DHB at their respective positions. _________________

Well, typically NFL teams do not bring in a new coach until the offseason, more likely elevating a coordinatior to the status of "interim" head coach, just as Cable was. This allows the team to retain some contunity within the same system for the rest of the year, can evaluate many situations, players, coach future needs as well as start evaluating potential offseason coaching candidates.
As for Cable, I'd bet he lasts thru the end of the year and is used as a scapegoat for the bad season. _________________
