Wide receiver Chris Davis has been re-signed by the Tennessee Titans to help with their return game.

Davis was waived in training camp a few days after being arrested by Nashville Metro Police on Aug. 22 while the Titans were in Dallas for a preseason game, and he was out of the lineup with a hamstring injury.

Cornerback Cary Williams was waived by the Titans to make room for Davis on the 53-man roster, but could be re-signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Not to bad, he wasn't the worst punt returner that we had. I just hope that he can hold on to the ball this time around.

Aside from his fumbling problem, Davis was actually a very good punt returner. However, unless he has fixed that problem, this is a pretty crappy move.

Lol, nice to see CD17 back in town. Not sure why we signed him and Alvin Pearman though.

Pearman for PR's, CD17 for KR's.

I think.

I also like Chris Davis. He's got better shiftiness suited for returns better than anyone else on the team I think. I remember his fumbling issues early in his career, but he seemed to be better with the ball later on. I like this signing. It's a sign that we're looking to improve a truly sorry aspect of the team and in addition, a slight return to CB depth normalcy. Cary never showed anything. Adios

Well I guess our frequent fumbler (Mouton) will learn from one of the best fumblers to play in Tennessee in Chris Davis.

Well, not everybody can be a Cortland Finnegan. But I am pleased that we got Chris Davis back on the roster. He's exactly the right guy for WR screens and end-around plays. Welcome back!

Davis was getting a lot of rave by the coaches before being released. Hopefully he comes back and continues that improvement. I am sure after his last fiasco he will come in with a better attitude. Could turn out to be a good second chance. All in all, he is better than Kaesvershain or however you spell that dudes name.
