I saw that same exact play. Moss only had green in front of him. The safety wasn't even over the top. But I think the play was designed to go to BJGE the whole time Sad

But one would think that Brady, uopn realzing BJGE isnt open instantly, would atleast GLANCE at RANDY FRIGGIN MOSS to see if he was open (in this case, he had a walk in touchdown).

To sum up, Bradys accuracy may have returned, but the decision making just isnt there yet. He isnt throwing it to Moss enough for them to be able to overwhelm decent opponents.

I see 4-1 with a loss to either the Saints or the second Dolphins game.

I think our defense matches up very well with the Colts' offense and the Jets have been figured out by the rest of the league and I'm sure BB won't lose to a rook at QB twice in one season.

I see a loss to the Colts or the Saints; my guess it will be to the Saints scince they are at home. Tom can be a killer in the dome so it would not surpise me if we won both games and split with the Dolphins.

@ Colts
I see this as a loss...tbh i would love to beat them, i have various bets on that we will win...but in my rational, non-pats side I know they will cream us. Peytons not having an MVP season simply because he has played bad pass D's and unfortunately the Pats will be another bad pass D for him to take apart (Merryweather will try his best to stop Manning...but he can't be everywhere at once). I do see some light...the colts have played no one good over this whole season and we may just shock some point out of them by actually putting up some resistance rather than rolling over.

@ Saints
See Colt comment for what Brees will do to us...but take out the but where they haven't been challenged yet. I see no light in this game and will mark it down as a Loss. We have a problem with speedy players, and the Saints are full of them. An upset could be pulled....but i see this being a tight loss or a total depressing blow out

Where are you getting this idea that we have a bad pass defense? We are ranked 5th in passing defense (only 176.3 yards per game), tied for 7th with passing TDs allowed (5 TDs), 9th in INTs and we are giving up 6.2 yards per completion which is good for 5th. For what is worth we have played the 10th, 15th, 17th, 23rd, 26th and 28 passing offenses.

I was wondering the same, we haven't got the best pass defense by any means but we have a damn competitive one...That game is going to be a cracker as always imo, come down to the dying moments

By bad i mean we get burned often and have questionable coverage now and again. Sometimes we play like an elite pass D unit...but often we drop into odd coverages (i'm thinking of the Ravens game here where for the certain drives we just simply couldn't pass D and others we shut Flacco down and made him look very bad). We're by no way awful (as i may have sorta implied but didn't mean in my OP) but we're not good, and tbh i don't think any team is worried about throwing on us.

Also those stats are misleading. Don't forget that 5th includes -7 yards against the Titans. Add on 200 or so yards that a competent team could have put on us and we drop down those rankings fast

I would agree with competitive, but I also think the Colts/Saints just blow past us and our corners have torrid days

I would still have to disagree with you on that. Why? Because a lot of the times a pass rush is what makes secondaries look good and we have only managed to generate 13 sacks all season long, which is good for 27th in the NFL. Confused Whether they played the Titans or not is not really relevant because almost all teams have some kind of 'aberration" game that they have played and you would have to go team by team and discount those games as well. The secondary has been stepping up and picking up the slack for the lack of pass rush and they have still managed to generate 7 picks (good for 9th overall), just imagine how much better they would look if they actually manage to have a pass rush, those picks would sky rocket. Also they have played against, Robbie White, Jerricho Cotchery, Derrick Mason, Tony Gonzalez, Brandon Marshall, Ray Rice, Lee Evans and all of them are top 50 in yards, none of them have less than 331 yards this season or at least 47.4 yards per game. I am more than confident on our secondary this year.

The only game I can remember our secondary not performing was Denver, we looked very poor then I don't know if you can blame the coaching or the DB's for that though, they were running curls all day long and we were standing off the line of scrimmage 10 yards...I'm not sure who to blame there but it was terrible to watch
