It is the same ol' Jets though. We have an embarrasment of riches at almost every single position.

HC- Rex is one of the brightest Defensive minds in football. Yes there are rookie growing pains but some crap is ridiculous the 2 2pt coversion I wouldn't do in Madden let alone NFL but ok

OC- Schitty is good in spots other times he is retarded

DC- Pettine is mini Rex

STC- Westhoff is best in business hands down

QB- Sanchez is beyond his years and will be an excellent QB in this league (in time)

RB- TJ is great, Leon is/was amazing Shonn is solid

FB- T-Rich one of the best to ever do it

WR- Braylon is a top-tier guy and Cotch is also upper middle tier reciever

TE- Keller is a beast as a reciever is making progress in his blocking

O-Line - 1 of the best run blocking lines in league very good pass blocking line as well (sans Faneca)

D-Line - Top 5 with Jenks good group without Big Man

LB- with exception of BT and Ghost(not a good nickname to have because it is literal he is a Ghost on the field) we have the best collection of LB's outside of Pitsburgh

Secondary- If Lito can stay healthy and return to probowl form we have the best secondary in business!

K- Jay "Ray Lewis" Feely is a beast

P- Weatherford is servicable

KR- Leon is top 5 Miller ehh I don't know yet I may have lost it he didn't look as fast as he was

PR- Leonhard is decent at best

LS- Dearth could make hall of fame if they took LS's lol

Even with all of this we still remain true to Jets form and find ways to snatch DEFEAT from the hands of VICTORY! I'm so disgusted! Is their a curse I don't know about?? Only thing different between these Jets and the past few Jets seasons and those of decades ago is the huge draft blunders are gone. Don't get me wrong there are still a few here and there like BT over Ed Reed and Jolley over Heath Miller but the isn't any Kyle Brady's over Sapps! What the he is wrong with me I became a Jet fan during the Rich Kotite debacle.... I liked Leon Johnson lol

Im slowly coming to terms with the fact that the New York Jets will never ever win a super Bowl ever again. Only the jets will lose to Miami twice despite having the better team. Only the Jets lose on Defense one week, offense the next and special teams the next.

Only the Jets make huge moves on draft day to excite the fans or to make them want to kill themselves. Only the jets are this inept and only the Jets can get used by Favre the way we were.

Only the friggin Jets can be one of the 4 or 5 best teams on paper and poop the bed every week against inferior teams. Whatever, im a mets fan too ill get used to it

Don't forget that they get rid of players whom we base our usernames on... whilst they're still more than capable of having great seasons Sad

It will happen when the 50 year deal with Satan that Namath made expires.
That should be around the same time the deal Satan and Belichick have is due.

Precisely.

The fans have bought into the "same ole Jets" idea and claim it to be true every time the Jets lose a game.

I know its growing pains and I expected a tough year. It just that in classic Jets style they found a way to get our hopes up by playing great only to play VERY badly the next game. Like someone posted earlier, "..defense one week, ofense the next and now speacial teams."

There's only one sure thing about the New York Jets:

Either they're plain old bad, or they're disappointing.

The only time the Jets actually exceeded expectations in recent memory was Mangini's first year, and that was because they had a cakewalk of a schedule.

Satan is too busy trying to steal Keanu Reeves soul to care about football.

Anybody remember the scene in Little Nicky where Dan Marino is trying to sell his soul to Satan, played by Harvey Keitel?

When Satan says he's too nice of a guy, Dan says "You did it for Namath," and Keitel says "Yea but Joe was coming here anyways."

And then when Marino leaves Keitel says "I also happen to be a Jets fan."

Funniest scene in the entire movie.

The Jets have made a good push in the playoffs about 3 times since 69. 85, 98, 04? years may be off. All times we should have won and lost. The rest of the time they are bad or they fall off after we think theyll be good. You are a fool if you think those fans arent going to get pessimistic after 40 years of FAIL. the fans are a product of the team. We are all diehard, best in the game, but it is the same ole jets.
