Things have been so low key in Dallas that now our cheerleaders are crying out for attention....Im black and it doesnt bug me but why do this to have drama anywhere near this team.....man things were going to well!

I'm black as well, and this doesn't offend me, but I have to say...

Really Whitney? Nothing ran through your head as you thought about this costume? As you went to get those grills? As you applied the makeup to yourself? Something must not be clicking in her head. I hold a higher regard to Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, as they have to have some knowledge to become one, but really... as I said I am not offended by this, BUT, she had to well and know that somebody would be.

As my friends from Monday Night Football would say:

Second thought: I highly doubt this'll affect the chemistry of the team. If it was someone like Jason Witten who did it, maybe (clearly Witten would have more sense than that)... but really, at the end of the day... she's just a cheerleader.

This got so little play, didnt hear one word of it on the talk radio all day it's a non-issue that has nothing to do with the football operations of this team, she can be fired tomorrow and no one would give a crap about it, Let's get ready for Philly

Im Know it wont effect the team on the field but why do something like this that makes our organization standout...we have anough mess going on around the franchise as a whole.....She should have just made out with another cheerleader in a bedroom. Now thats hottt Laughing

I think we need to be careful not to turn this into a race issue and get the thread locked. My question is this... is this a "character" issue because she chose to go as Lil Wayne and not a "color"? In other words, if she went as Marion Barber would this even be an issue? If she showed up with the same dreads, fake muscles, Barber jersey with shoulder pads and face paint would this still be an issue?

It's dumb that it is being made into such a big deal. If a black cheerleader dressed up as Britney Spears, would it get the same attention? It's halloween! I dressed up as Michael Jackson this year. I had to make my face even more white. I didn't know there was a rule on halloween that you had to stay within your own race..... thats sounds a bit like reverse racism to me.

This incident is the direct result of Jerry Jones having too much control of this team. As I have stated numerous times, Dallas will never amount to anything with jerry and this incident clearly shows why. He has once again failed to bring in the necessary talent both on the football team and with the cheeerleaders. I also blame Wade for this fiasco. I don't know why but I do anyways.

1. A lot of posts here were joke's guys. While the internet does not always translate things perfectly, don't be so easily offended.

2. This is a non-issue.

3. Because this is a non-issue, I would like nothing more than to keep it open. But we have already had enough comments that have discussed race to an extent that is unnecessary and unwanted.
