im not saying the phins will win, but to say we only put up 13 points is insane. we are on a 4 game streak of putting up 30+ points, and in all honesty it has been a while since the pats defense shut us down. I see this being 35-25 NE, with us failing in the fourth quarter.
A few reason why this will be closer than some think:
1. NE is tied for 22nd in the league with 5 other teams allowing 4.5 yards a carry. Miami is a very good rushing team. If we are allowed to eat up the clock and wear down that defense, it will at the very least allow us to stay in the game.
2. Miami is 6th in the league in sacks, and although Brady hasn't been sacked much, and probably won't get sacked much, he will have some pressure on him.
3. Miami has a great run D, and NE will have a difficult time getting yards on the ground, unfortunately for us Brady probably won't have a rough time making up for that. |

With our tough schedule coming up, I think we really need to pull out a win here, especially since it's home. Contain the wild cat, and we will be fine. Their passing game and Chad Henne don't scare me one bit. _________________

Sorry, we will try to be more respectful of the Dolphins' high powered offense in the future.

With 4 TD's in these 4 games coming directly from your defense and special teams.

Yeah, I know, you have to go all the way back to December of 2007. Seems long ago, I know...
The only way that the Dolphins will have success on offense is through their gimmick offense. We showed in our second meeting last season that we can shut it down. Doesn't really bode well for your chances if you have to rely on Chad Henne, does it? |

My response to pro-Miami folks:
Your secondary will have to find an answer for him before you can dream of wild catting us like last September. You wont be running it when youre behind by 10 in the 2nd quarter. _________________ "His Future's so bright, he needs sunglasses. He is the greatest posting prospect of all time. Miami has two new Corners playing, while they are rookies, they are still a step up from 07 and 08. Sean Smith and Vontae Davis have played very well so far. You cant really bring up Moss' past success against Miami. However, feel free to talk about how Moss as a veteran would own any rookie lol _________________

What does the secondary have to do with it, it isnt like Moss was open on any of those catches _________________ "His Future's so bright, he needs sunglasses. He is the greatest posting prospect of all time. He is the NEXT BIG THING."

Randy Moss as a Patriot vs. the Dolphins: 4 games, 21 catches, 322 yards, 7 touchdowns (including those 2 ridiculous in 2007, and the 3 he caught last year). The Pats would be wise to force deep balls to Moss early ala Tennessee. If they're successful, the game will be over as theyll be able to dictate the defense the rest of the day.
I say the 1st half should be a combo of pounding Maroney and play action bombs to Moss or screens to Welker. Anything else would unnessecary |
They now have a corner who is Moss' size almost. Redzone looks will probably be rare unless it's a screen to Moss for whatever reason.
But he's still a rookie and Moss >>>> so hopefully Brady doesn't forget he has the #2 greatest WR of all time on his team -_- |

You guys should win this game hands down. You have the better team, with one of the best QB's to ever play the game, and your playing at home. That bieng said, we almost beat the Colts and the Saints, both very close games. You guys lost to the stinkin JETS for christ sake! Anything can happen. Remember Sean Smith completely shut down Reggie Wayne. I say Fins 24-21. Moss catches 1TD thats it!!! _________________

| My main worry is being able to stop the run, so scoring early will be key. I'm not worried too much about Ginn on kickoffs. Our special teams are much more solid than the Jets, who apparently weren't worried about trading one of their best STers away in the Edwards deal. |

To hear you guys, it sounds as though the Dolphins can only run the ball out of the Wildcat.
To hear you guys, it sounds as though the Pats don't have a rookie LT starting.
To hear you guys, it sounds as though Tom Brady has never had a bad day against the Dolphins.
I guess the Dolphins shouldn't even bother to show up for this game, they don't have a prayer of winning it. _________________ Never argue with an idiot. You can't win and most people won't be able to tell you from him.

Being covered and being covered by someone who actually knows how to go up and get the ball and has the size to do it are 2 totally different things. I'm not worried about our CB's. I'm more worried about our safeties. We have been beaten in the air more by TE's and Running backs out of the backfield than we have by star receivers so far. |
